The City of Wetteren Releases its Own Font
Wetteren is a city located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. In the past years, this city has invested a lot in infrastructure and is constantly changing en renewing itself.
Together with their new identity, we created the typeface Wetteren stencil. This font was created in collaboration with Rik Staesens. The font was inspired by the curves of the river “the Scheldt” which runs through Wetteren.
Wetteren stencil is designed to make the new visual brand unique as memorable and its forms allow us to integrate the font in many techniques in their new identity.
