One square metre of pure nature
Natuurpunt is an independent association that ensures the protection of vulnerable and endangered nature in Flanders. In 2016 they asked the local authorities to provide one square metre of freshly planted nature per inhabitant of Flanders, each year. A simple and feasible plan with immediate results.
To raise awareness we designed a campaign that left a sense of wonder. We used real plants and flowers, and combined taxidermied animals with real birds. The image shows all the beauty that one square metre of nature can behold.
