Let’s go to the beer bar!
For the Belgian pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 we were responsible for the complete scenography, including the wall coverings of the popular Belgian Beer Bar. When we presented our idea for the bar to Besix and architect Patrick Genard, they immediately said ‘yes’ to our concept of chalk lettering.
We designed the different illustrations and lettering, and drew every detail on the ten-metre high walls by hand. Our artwork gave the bar a charming feel and drew in many spectators, who of course also soon got hooked on our Belgian beers.
