Privacy & Disclaimer

What we do with the details you give us, what we don’t do with them, and what you can ask of us.

The short version. You can read this whole site without telling us anything. We only hold what you hand us yourself — through the contact form or by writing to us — and we never pass it on to anyone else.

What we collect

Most of this site works without you providing anything. We only hold what you give us yourself, in one of two ways:

That gives us your name and your email address, and whatever else you choose to put in your message. If we go on to work together, we may need more — but we will ask you for it then, not now.

What we use it for

To answer you, and to send you what you asked for. We may come back to you about related work or with a question about how we did. That is all.

There are things we explicitly do not do. We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to other organisations. We use them inside the studio and nowhere else. The only exception is one no company can refuse: a law or a court order.

We do not keep your details longer than those purposes need.

Who else sees it

Our website and mail run on servers at Combell, in Belgium. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions — they are not free to do their own thing with it.

This site carries no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Films on project pages come from Vimeo, loaded with their Do Not Track setting switched on. Our cookie policy sets that out in full.

Keeping it safe

We take the measures the law requires of us to prevent your details being lost, altered or used by someone who has no business with them.

Your rights

Privacy law gives you a set of rights over your own data. You can exercise any of them by writing to info@coming-soon.be.

See what we hold
Ask us what we have about you and we will tell you.
Correct it
Wrong address, misspelt name, anything else — tell us and we will put it right.
Object
Stay in our records but ask us not to contact you. We will adjust how we reach you.
Restrict
Ask us to keep your details on file but make no further use of them.
Be forgotten
Ask us to delete you entirely. Do bear in mind that if you later get in touch again, we start from nothing — earlier preferences are gone with the rest.
Take it with you
Ask us to hand over the details you gave us, in a form you can pass to someone else.
Not be profiled
We do not profile anyone, and we take no decisions about you automatically. If that ever changes, you can object or ask to discuss it with a person.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us — we would rather hear it. You can also take it to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — brands, logos, drawings, data, product and company names, texts, images and the like — is protected and belongs to Soon or to the third parties entitled to it.

Limitation of liability

The information on this site is general. It is not tailored to anyone’s circumstances and cannot be taken as personal, professional or legal advice.

We do our best to keep it complete, correct and up to date. Even so, inaccuracies happen. If you find one, tell us and we will fix it as quickly as we can. We cannot be held liable for damage, direct or indirect, arising from the use of what you read here.

The content may change at any time without notice. We give no guarantee that the site works without interruption, and we are not liable for any malfunction or temporary unavailability, nor for damage to your equipment, software or files.

This site links to other websites. Those links are not an endorsement of what is on them. We have no control over those sites and cannot be held responsible for their content.

Applicable law

Belgian law applies. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the Ghent district have jurisdiction.
